It looks like the system in the newer CX-60 uses a touchscreen, which is a step in the right direction. It’s also disappointing Mazda hasn’t rolled out its 10.25-inch system across the 2022 CX-5 range, and instead reserves it for the GT SP and above. CX-5 Akera shown. There’s plenty of storage space up front.

exact same issue for 2017 Mazda cx-5 car play master knob not working for iphone8 OS v 14.2. did dealer update as well, no luck. mazda cx 5 carplay master control knob not selecting functions, instead wakes iphone 12 pro screen for optikns. after 14.2 ios update. reset and restarted both. APPLE PLEASE FIX ASAP. unsafe for driving.
I have a brand new 2021 Mazda Cx 5 and Ive experienced problems with Apple CarPlay since I got the car. I took it to the service dept yesterday and they got it to work by disabling my phone and reconnecting it but about an hour later it stopped working again. This is frustrating. I’ve tried different apple cable cord and still the same issue
