It depends on your build but a lot of times the specializations take the place of something in other trees. Even when they don't they often have some stuff that is so good you want to dive into that tree pretty quickly. At least that's the case with mage. Nemhy 4 years ago #6. Yes. I don't think it's necessary as I did manage to get to the end (and beat the 10 high dragons) on hard without doing it for everyone.
